A former native of Storm Lake, Iowa, USA, Carl now lives in Mamaku, near
Rotorua, New Zealand. His journey there included two years in a British
Columbia religious commune, thirteen years on a remote plantation in
Fiji, and considerable time in various floating apparatus navigating the
coastal reefs of northern Vanua Levu (Fiji).
Carl is a man for all seasons dividing his time as
philosopher, economist, political activist and inventor, as well as visionary
writer come to make a difference.
He invented the Peterson portable sawmill in 1988 and founded
the original company manufacturing the Peterson Portable Sawmills now
being marketed by Peterson Global Sales Ltd. (www.petersonsawmills.com).
While managing the original company he applied for around 20 different
patents largely dealing with portable milling technology. Upwards of 50,000
portable sawmills around the world use technology developed by and
"borrowed" from Carl and his first company, Peterson Portable
Sawing Systems Ltd. His sawmill inventions are now manufactured and
marketed by companies owned and controled by his daughter and son-in-law, who
continue to add their own refinements.
His recent book, "The
Zen of No Tax" is bound to become a classic in New Age "supply
side" economic theory, finally revealing the diabolical truth about
taxes and the banking monopoly, and the simple no-tax alternative. This is
a "must read" book for anyone even remotely interested in sustainable
economics and environmental health. If you've never asked yourself where

Carl's curiousity about earth sciences, originally "twigged" by Albert
Einstein's interest in polar shifts, has lead to an intriguingly
interesting and sound theory regarding the causes, effects, and
predictability of the next polar shift. His book "Earth
Changes" stiches disparate pieces of known evidence together into
what appears to be a rock solid fundamental principal regarding the ongoing
unfolding of the Earth's evolution. This is a "must read" for anyone
taking notice of earth change predictions leading up to 2012.

Simultaneously, he is working towards completion of his cutting edge
